I am in need of money more than rocks right now so I am going to be selling a bunch of rough I've acquired over the last few years. Some is old stock from a guy who said he bought it about 30 years ago from a guy who got it maybe 20 years ago. Not sure if I believe the second part but the guy I bought it from is sure old enough to have gotten it that long ago and some of the crates it was in were very old. I will indicate if I'm selling old stock or new in my threads. I'm in the process of going through and sorting out the rough so will post as I get it sorted.
Here's the first batch:
Box 1: MFRB Tumbling rough- mostly small pieces but some possible one cab wonders. The material is some I collected on my trip last year through AZ, Utah, and some Montana stuff too. Lots of agate, (some is pink looking from around Moab and some looks like pigeon blood but I can't be sure plus I think there is a piece of Montana agate in there too, some petrified wood, and a few misc. pieces. Box weighs 20 lbs.
Price reduced to $35 shipping included$50 (includes shipping)
Dry
Wet
Box 2: Sold MFRB Petrified wood. Material is from Montana, Arizona, Utah and maybe some from North Dakota. I collected it during my trip and while working in Eastern Montana and North Dakota. The Montana pieces have some agatizing in them as far as I can tell. Pieces range from 3 1/2" long to 1 1/2" long so it's a mix of sizes. I don't know how fractured it all is but that's petrified wood for ya, never can tell. Box weighs 23 lbs.
$50 (includes shipping)
Dry
Wet
Box 3 is SOLD
Box 3: MFRB Montana Agate. Material is some I collected and some from the old collection. A few have been cut. Most of it is larger tumble rough but some up to 3 3/4" x 1 3/4". Smallest piece is about 2 1/2" x 1". This has not been graded so I don't know what quality it is although some of the cut stuff looks very promising for cabs. The box weighs 24 lbs.
$60 (includes shipping)
Dry
Wet
Bag 1: I also have a 6 lb bag of Oolite rough for sale. It won't fit in a FRB so will have to figure out shipping. I scratched a few pieces with a knife and they did not scratch so it may be good for tumbling or cabbing. Most of the pieces are about 2". I paid $2/lb for it and it came from an old estate that was being sold at the local gem and mineral show last year.
I'm asking $12 not including shipping.

Please PM me if interested in any of this.
There is more to come. I will be offering SFRB of tumble rough, mix of old and new rough but haven't gotten the boxes together yet. If anyone is interested in SFRB or would rather see MFRB please PM me and I'll see what I can do. Right now I have about one MFRB worth of small tumble rough so could go either way depending on what people want.
