Shadowbox Five Stone Lapis Sterling Cuff I made several of these and was informed this one was not for sale. One of the most difficult part was cutting out the holes after the outer part was domed. There was no room for the saw. The Lapis cups had wire soldered to the back and the inner half was drilled and the wires soldered to hold the cups in place. After polishing and the inside blackened the Lapis 18x25 Cabs were laid in place. This was a winner at several Jewelry Shows. Enjoy Don

The Shadowbox design has been around a long long time. I had seen one and decided to try one. Silver was more reasonably prices in those days. Most I had seen had only three stones and I made a couple of them. The one I remember the most had three large Black Coral cabs. It sold as soon as I showed it and the wife still complains. Don

Looks great. How many hours in it? I do remember that I made it over a week end, maybe 12+ hours. I did purchase the stones. Don

Very impressive! I can't even wrap my brain around how you did it. It's not only beautiful but a marvel in technique.

Wow! That is amazing. I can't blame your wife for snapping it up. You explained it, and I still can't work through how you did it in my head. Very nice.

Impressive! Love the clean lines. Nice thing about a piece like this is, even the uninitiated should be able to recognize how much work and talent must have gone into it.

Really, really nice. I can't even imagine getting enough patience to start something like that.
