Hi Everybody, I've received several requests for some of the Pietersite when I got it slabbed up. Well, here is the first batch of slabs! I will ship in a small flat rate box ($5.80), and if you buy multiple I will combine them into a single box. Front and back pictures are shown for each slab. If you want other pictures, let me know. All slabs, except for the last one, are 0.305 inches in thickness, +/- 0.005. The last slab is .330 inches. (Approximately :-p) #1. I am combining the two smallest slabs into one. These are small, best for earrings or similar small cabs. Combined cost for both is $15.00. (First slab) 3.5" x 0.75". 33 grams. (Second slab) 4" x 1". Weight = 42 grams. #2. 4 1/2" x 1 1/8". Weight = 49 grams. Cost = $12.50. Thanks for looking! Jeff

Dear Jeff, I dont think the price is the mainreason for people keeping very quiet. I think its more the singular color. Recently, most people saw Pietersite with an astonishing array of colors. So this looks a little underwhelming. To someone like me, who is used to pay more for a single cab of this stuff, the price is not the main issue.

Best thing to do is get better pictures if your pictures do not look like the slabs in hand. I would not have guessed by the pictures that they were peitersite. my first thought was wood or swamp bog. Maybe take them outside but not in the direct sunlight. may give you a better picture.

Thanks for the feedback everybody. I went outside (in the shade) and took new pictures. Hopefully these are more to everybody's liking.

Think Halloween!! This material reminds me of an Edvard Munch painting.

Now, that looks much better, even without other colours.

Hi Everybody,
Thanks for the feedback and interest. All slabs are now either sold or otherwise spoken for. I'll post more before too long.

WOW! I was watching on ebay. I saw them when they came up.... bought one, looked again and all but one and the big one (which is also mine) are gone! I hope it is as good as I think it is. I'm so tickled. Can't wait to get it.
