Very interesting. Spoon ? Indian paint bowl ? The stone doesn't appear to be worked on the outside, but the bowl part looks like it could be man made. That's why I say possibly an Indian paint bowl.

Don't think it's a tooth. The material looks like quartzite to me. I've never seen an Indian paint bowl with a handle, but the bowl part looks like it was worn into the piece by continually turning another rock into it much like the Indians would have done to produce a paint pot or bowl.

ok thanks Don, this is just a luxury id like to have in the future, Im cool with my stuff in cardboard trays for now..Some of the ones I want on a stand wouldn't fit on a stand meant for coins, but some would....Ill follow your advice and just do the math for best deal when im ready

I have the same problem. I have a few specimens that just won't fit the standard stands. Gonna have to buy some plexiglass and make my own I guess. When that guy comes back on ebay,visit his store. he has other types of stands that might work for you.

Ill do that Don, that is a great idea w/ the plexi glass!........You just took me back to shop class in middle school when all id make is cases for my sports cards!....Id just cut the plexi glass with a saw and use the heater machine to heat the bends for the card stands, and made a wooden c02 car once lol....cool tools i took for granted

lol just remembered trying to be the first person in shop class to get the biggest best piece of wood or plexiglass also, the tardy students got every one elses scraps =D I must be getting old

Yup, I remember those shop classes. In Jr. High we had a rock club too, with all of the equipment and field trips on weekends.
