Thanks Guys! Don, I cracked these right out of the mountain just north east of Eureka. Google Earth has it labeled Pinyon Mountain. The first time out, we were aiming for the site in the Gem Trails book, but now we just look for these veins. I'm not sure what to to with them yet since I don't have a good saw or any way to polish. I have tumbled some of the blue that comes out of this in the past, but I don't think I'm going to break any of this up for that...

Really nice material and colours. Definitely too good to tumble. You have select cabbing material there if it is sound. You wouldn't have to sell to many of those to buy a wet tile saw.
Thanks for posting the host rock photos. It looks like a lot of hammer and chisel work to get them out.
As for the back ache, take a muscle relaxant and go get more. LOL!
Darryl.

That is freaking fantastic! I wouldn't call that rockhound though, I call that rockpounding! I'm sure you could sell your rough on here too, and it would sell faster than you could box it! Thanks for sharing, what a great post ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Excellent agate and the matrix looks well silicified too. Should be great cabbing material but boy does that look like hard rock mining. Always neat to see someone post finds from a new location I've not seen before.....Mel
