Man made? Natural? A cast of something? The form looks like a piece of fossilized palm I have, but the color is way off. The palm is ropey-textured, purplish-brown in color.
I kept wanting to manipulate the pic, flip it around for a better view. Or grab the stone(?) and turn it over in my hand to examine it more fully, lol. Got a wider angle shot of it?

Measurements or a coin in a pic really would help, and clear pics from more than one angle too. I definitely agree with the agate cast theory.
