I'm sure that most of you woke up this morning and, after a yawn, a stretch, and a couple lip smacks, entertained this first lucid thought of the day: "I wonder what Tyson has been up to?" I'm sure you checked the forum again and again, hoping that this nebulous new member would finally let you know what he has been doing with the rocks he has gathered/purchased. The anxiety over not knowing has probably been enough to give you gastrointestinal fits. Well, I am finally here to allay your anxiety. The following is what I have been doing over the past few weeks: For those of you who don't want to listen to me prattle on. Here is a picture I hail from Cache Valley Utah. Lucky husband and father of four, and I have rocks on the brain.

Whew, I was running out of Tums so it was good you posted.
Admittedly, the first thought to run through my brain when I saw the lamp was "BACON STRIPS!!!".

Thanks guys. We really are enjoying it. I turn on the light a lot more than is needed just to look at it.

That's cool & beautiful all at the same time! I would spend a lot of time admiring/gazing up at the chandelier...

Are the slabs in some sort of an epoxy?or are the glued to the pre-existing lamp shade?

I made the thing from scratch. They are glued to a plastic that allows the light through.
