Hey,anyone out there know a place where a person can score a huge chunk of fools gold,maybe still in matrix or whatever..... A buddy of mine wants to buy a piece for his niece.....About a 12" x 12" or so,anything in the ball park... Thanks you all...............

I got a source on some really good pyrite cubes its in that bead shop I posted prices may be good being that there having 60% sale but the owner been known to jack the prices
I could take some pictures of a couple premium pieces and the prices but it won't be till later in the week though

I took a lot of pictures of the pyrites at he bead shop They came out lousy do to the fluorescent lighting I tried to doctor this one up It fist size and must weigh over 3 pounds Some well defined crystals/cubes Mostly pyrite—little matrix It 60% off the listed price The shop as all sizes And some must weigh over 35lbs I saw a 500-dollar price tag on one Anyway thought it be good to have pyrite pix in pyrite thread mostly

not that it helps.. but I have a pyrite vertebrae. Its pretty cool piece.
a 12 by 12 sounds pretty big. don't think Ive ever seen that size

They have some specimens at my local shop natures treasures in austin.but they are pricey for as large as you want $400-$600. Dave

I know if I keep my eyes and ears open,something will pop up..Have a few leads so far.... mr.mohs,that is a nice piece you have there and at a fair price-great buy....Ok bhiatt,you got my attention,lets see the photo my friend.... I'll be going dino bone hunting this June in Montana,last time in the zone we hunt,I found dino bone with agate in the center of the bones..Hoping to find the source this go around...Thumbs up

Some of the members from North Carolina should be able to help ya out there is some big cubes that come from there or at least use to be.

Have some of those cubes from that area,I like em'....My buddy wants the clunker type F/G...Told him the price will go high with the bigger stuff...
