Found this rough piece of granite/Crystal yesterday.....Never see this stuff around this area....It was laying in an old business area,next to the dumpster.... About the size of a bowling ball-am I going to cut it/heck ya'....LOL

Nothing like imported decorative rock. You never know what you will find. Looks like it spent some time in a river getting rounded. Chances are, the black is soft and brittle. Makes it tough to tumble.

You know after lookin' at it again and thinkin' about it,it might be quartz....I'll slab a few pieces than put it in my rock garden..

looked like it tried real hard to be an agate... do show us a picture after you cut it... and when it is polished!

that's cool stuff! I really like that lightning bolt looking swirly stuff at the top of the side in the first photo. are you gonna tumble any of it, or polish it to see what it does?
