A few weeks ago I asked the forum for suggestions on how and for how much I should sell my equipment.
I've had a delay on doing this and it is for a great reason. I was in days of dying in January before beginning chemo for stage four non-small cell lung cancer.
The first two weeks were touch and go before I started to improve. I saw the doctor today and he said that a comparison of scans in January and this month shows that my lung and bone lesions are stable but the lymph nodes can longer be seen.
Great news! He feels that my prognosis can be extended to 18-24 months. It may not sound like much but to me and my wife it is a literal lifetime.
So to try to shorten this, I won't be selling any of my equipment about 1 1/2 years or so. Thanks to all who made suggestions and please know I will be coming back attcha when the time approaches.

Take care of yourself... and never give up. Hang around for at least a couple-three decades and surprize the Docs and yourself. The forum needs you around much more then your equipment.

Thanks for the good news. I've lost some great friends to cancer and it's good to hear about someone kicking it back.
I hate. Hate. Hate. cancer.
Thinking of you and wishing you much more success in the fight.
