I witnessed a thread in which a new member rocksofmexico Joseph H Diamond of JH Kalmore Company was slammed for being a new guy and replying to another new members wanted to buy post. I saw his thoughtful replys and contacted him privately. We struck a deal and I bought a 44# hunk of top notch mexican lace agate.     Yes, there is some matrix there. The price was appropriate and I will core drill this piece knowing where the matrix is. Thank you Joseph. Welcome to the community. even tho' the box was destroyed he used double sand bags inside and plenty of fiber tape to keep the stone inside the box. Top notch.
His communication was outstanding. I took a couple days (over a weekend) to pay the invoice and he had no issues with that either. First rate deal all the way.
BTW those images above are dry just as I opened the box. I can;t wait to see it wet!

Just ordered a specimen piece from him. It's in the mail, and should be here by Monday. I'll reserve judgement on him until I see the piece. If it's as nice as the pics looked, I'll probably try a larger order.

Just got my specimen from Rocksofmexico. I'm a happy camper. I'll probably order more specimens from him. Here's the specimen I got. Conicalcite crystals. Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Mexico.  Gonna finish looking through his ebay catalog now. |

LOL Scott, I already sent another order. He only had one other specimen that I don't already have in my collection. I'll check him every week or so, to see if he has anything new.
