Sell em anyway. Sell first and ask questions later. Bet the free advertising will attract the local customers like flies. Damn government. Defy those blood suckers.

Funny thing is that if he was using the rocks to build a rock wall there would be no fuss even though he would technically be claiming these rocks as his property. But because he is selling the the government has their hands out.
Maybe he should just put mining claims all over his property. Would probably be cheaper.

this guy pissed off his neighbors, then went looking for a fight. curious to hear more of the story, but so far I don't feel sympathy for the guy. Yes, civil disobedience is so...... well...... disobedient.

Stories like these are tragic and seem to be becoming more commonplace. We can make a lot of assumptions. The important element is to make the Landowner out to be public enemy #1. We know the news now all we need to know is the rest of the story when it comes out? Snuff said! Thanks for posting. Ivan

You don't see the problem. By moving the rock he is changing the delicate mass balance of the entire planet. Next thing you know there will be mountains sprouting out of that field It could cause the earth to spin out of control, careening into space. You never know...

i think id tellum all to go sh-t in there hats too - if he bought the land and there was no clause that said the county owned the mineral rights on that property then they are his to do with what ever he see's fit after all he paid for them when he bought the land -- sounds like more gov reaching into the little guys pockets every chance they get - they cant stand anybody makin a buck unless they get there 50 cents
