OK, I love my combo Aussie grill and medium Green Egg. Mainly for heat protection, the roof is real nice. The problem is it is too small. Regarding table space and storage. And the Aussie grill needs a step down since it sits to high. Built a jig to weld this base unit on. It will be offered for sale locally. Will handle the large Green Egg as it is most polar. It can be faced toward the visitors as the fence panel allows visual capability, instead of cooking w/back to them. And serve as a hanging wall for hooked utensils and other cooking paraphernalia. I am thinking about fold down end table and a sink utilizing garden hose hookup. and receptacles and lighting built in. This was one slapped together years ago Bare naked skeleton of new model

Looking good. Do I recognize that screened area as being from a pile of gates a month or so ago?

Looking good. Do I recognize that screened area as being from a pile of gates a month or so ago? They renovated the Humane Society and I bought a pile of fence panels. like a trailer load. And my wife's friends got them. Like total a couple of hundred between all of us. the panels are 6' X 4' and were $400 each from the high end fence maker, as each panel had a 2' X 6' gate built in and feed door at bottom. Two built kennels. I bought 50 and have made stuff out of them, mostly shelves. we paid $15 each. They fit perfect between the upright poles, so I used them as a back drop. One gal's kennel is in here basement and she saved a fortune using them. Eight miles north is the largest galvanizing operation in the south east US. I have had home made trailers dipped there for $200. They dip whole tractor trailers 53' feet long. I may take the whole weldment and have it dipped. They triple coat it as standard coating. Gotta sand blast before coating.

When is lunch James......... ?? I guess i better build the new kitchen first. I called the galvanizing company to get a quote for double dip galvanizing the weldment and the guy wants to buy one already.

Bought a table top Cuisinart model CGG-306 to get heights and dims figured out. A little 'all stainless' 2 burner gas grill. It sucks compared to my table top Aussie. And Aussie sells parts-heavy duty parts. They contract to Sears(Aussie=Meco). Will weld a gas distribution pipe with tees ever so often. use main valve to turn all on.
And a 10 foot industrial cart to convert to a jig. I can tell 10 feet is needed for 3 gadgets. Maybe lazy susan type tables. Or swing outs. Two 6 footers set up at 90 to create a 'credenza' arrangement is my favorite. Jigs are cool. Mastered one for aligning the legs and setting heights.
May contract the roof w/an awning contractor to do the roof so I don't have to weld the thin stuff. And I will screw metal roofing down on it. Am pumped. This one up my ally.

kick@ass my Jim! More photos or it didn't happen. Straightening out a 10 foot cart to convert to a longer jig. One end bent, heating angle iron to remove kinks. Got it straight as an arrow. Installed cross braces so it doesn't twist on uneven ground and lock it into staying straight. It sits on 10 inch wheels for rollaroundability. bent angle iron stubborn to straighten. Cherry red humbles it.

Major surgery on the end closest. Had to cut it off and bend all 4 angle irons back straight, and then x-brace end. Then slap internal bracing in to reduce twist on uneven ground. Ready to fit jig devices, demanding as they got to be bang-on. Total length 9'9" to use std 10' and 20' stock.

That bring's back memories, Redd Fox is great.
There was a 3 yard hopper full of fractional HP motors passing thru there today. $2/pound.

Prelim jig for 10 foot kitchen. Next step is placing jigs for internal posts. Trying to get everything very square so mass made parts fit. Slow work. 8 foot home made ATV trailer behind it. Post retainers This is a highly rated table top/portable gas grill. All stainless. $200. I like the Aussie grill better. Aussie's are bulletproof and have great parts availability.

I agree, it is a good cooker though. I like the 3 burner Aussie better. Am planning on using it on a small outside kitchen with a gas hot plate or griddle and a Green Egg. Not to fond of gas grills myself, other than keeping things warm and cooking veggies in foil. I need a table top design though. and dimensions to set heights at. However, customer can request this 2-burner instead....as long as the deposit covers it
