These were attached side by side. Sawed simultaneously. About 1.5 inches across. Colors glitter when viewing angle is changed. Photo lacks showing internal reflections.

Totally awesome James..That's a two thumbs up! If I cooked that it would be chocolate colored as it has a rich color and it has saw oil in it.

I had a Bull Terrier that chewed rocks Jean. His teeth were worn to the gums. Never could break him from the habit. That was a OCD X10 canine.

Oooooo! Dat's purdy!!! if it were a bit smaller it would make an incredible pendant! Does it have a Brother, Sister or Cousin that came from a smaller section?

The whole piece was about 5 inches long. So it produced a good many little slabs. They were all about the same quality. Would make cool cabs if color line was followed.

Really beautiful stuff James! I know you said it would turn chocolate brown if cooked - would that ruin it or would it still dazzle?

Really beautiful stuff James! I know you said it would turn chocolate brown if cooked - would that ruin it or would it still dazzle? Yes, it should have dazzle, but the saw oil turns brown well before 600F. The solution would be to heat it whole before sawn. In that situation the yellow would turn orange most likely. The coral requires a high 600F. A lot of agates from out your way can be cooked at 350F-400F. Easy to do in a counter top toaster oven. You should try some of those fine materials you find.
