Hi carvers! I know a person interested in purchasing around 500 tons a year of translucent carving rough. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

I can do a lot of grey coral Miya. It is not flashy but very solid. 500 tons might be a bit much....It comes in 3-10 pound chunks. I will send you a samples if needed. I don't think the EPA is going to let me harvest at that rate(comes out of the river). And I don't think I will have any life in me at after 5 tons.ha

Are You Alpine Gems still located between Summit and Cedar. Have google earth and found you, But never been to see your place. Have hunted agate all around you and up to the cinder pit. I have found Cedar white alabaster, some pink from over the hill at Mt Carmel.Would like to bring 1dave and Rick up to visit, Rick is really getting into carving. Let me know when would be a good time for a visit, rockpowell. P.S. I could bring the rock club too. I'm sure they would love the visit.

Utah has some great alabaster. I have carved quite a bit of it. Utah translucent orange alabaster. Solar flare. Jim
