These are really nice looking Tela!!!! I am studying the pictures to see if I can figure out the wrap process.... I have a couple larger pieces that might look good with that wrap!! this kind of looks like an upside down wrap..... hmmmmm.. thinking!!

I am quite sure that if I wrapped upside down AND blindfolded would look better than if I was really looking and trying hard.
You guys kill me. NO way I can do that!
Tela those are gorgeous and well worth any premium you asked for. Next time get 10% (or 50%) more courage and ask 10% (or 50%!!) more. You WILL make that sale too!
Great job!

Thanks Scott I think because I come from a rather poor background, I just have a hard time putting big numbers on things. I figure if I wouldn't pay that much, why would someone else. Anyway, she did love them and said she would be back for more. I'm waiting for you to try your hand at wire wrapping. You can doooo it!

That is one thing I had trouble with at the reptile store. When I bought animals before I was a store, I still knew how to pay less than my store HAD to ask. It was difficult for me at first but overtime, the concept went away. Then I realized people were paying the premium not for the animal but for what we brought to the table.
Your customers will pay you a premium over what you consider reasonable. Because you put more on the table and they are willing to compensate you for that.
Let me ask you to do a thought experiment (no answers needed).
If you took your last 12 months sales numbers, added 10% to your selling price, would you be happy making that, for no extra work?
There is no way you can just double your selling price tomorrow. But, 10% added over time can double the selling prices. You'll grow yourself into the premium maker revenues for the premium maker work that you already do.
My goal is to encourage you. Please take that! Plus, if you can rise your levels, the tide change will help others do the same, making the entire industry more credible. You are a leader! Lead the pack into growing revenues.

Once again, I'm in awe!! Your design is wonderful and suits the beautiful stones. Wrapping from a different angle really is enticing (You know I'm going to be puzzling out your technique...once again LOL)

I realize this thread is a couple of months old. I have been trying to teach myself wire-wrapping. Those are absolutely beautiful. I like how your wrapping showcases the stone instead of hiding them.

I like how your wrapping showcases the stone instead of hiding them. that is what first caught my eye on these..you see the stone first then look at the wrap..like each one is in its own picture frame..some great designs where the wrap does not over power the stone.
