Purdy dino bone. Coolest and prettiest fossil in the book.

Yeah I'm watching out for them on eBay . From the ones I can afford .... the detail in the marrow isn't too great or they seem to be lacking in color so if i see a nice one i gotta jump on it. Amazing the details preserved!

you can find good dino on eBay. Bobzrocks is the best seller and most affordable. Some things might seem high prices but they aren't. He is a legend in the dino gembone world.

Oh some are simply stunning! I just don't have $50 to drop on rocks and fossils atm. Had to build up an inventory for an exhibition/competition next weekend so I'm pretty much right above my red line. If that goes well tho expect more photos I'll definitely check out bobzrocks, thanks

also I have more small specimens over big pieces. The big heavy ones 10 pounds and up that have color are very hard to come by nowdays.

Oh for sure, but I can't buy what I can't afford ...obviously lol.... and if I have multiple pieces to choose from within an affordable price range I'm going to pick the one that is most likely to bring in the return for my investment. Even if that means buying the smaller piece at the high end of prices, if it looks good it'll sell faster compared to a larger piece at a lower price with less color or marrow structure. I think the saying is quality over quantity. I bought this piece for my grandpa, plan on making a pendant out of it. He wears a mammoth tusk pendant all the time ( made me one too - love it!) And has a decent size fossil collection, his favorite color is red... This thing is right up his alley

yeah you can get slabs on eBay for under twenty bucks that will have at least one area out of the slab that has killer all hard agate. My buddy Mark Anderson buys em like that and hoards the bone. Might just just one square inch of the piece and not use the rest.

Yeah that sounds like something I would do. Can never have too many specimens in your collection.

Yeah he cut and drilled it himself too. I was impressed.
Yes I'm really limiting myself on ebay, like I said I'm right above my red line. I need to sell some stuff before I can buy anything else and once I can I'm pretty picky
