Hi folks, A selection of the latest batch of found/cut/polished local agates ... Delicately coloured (white with yellow/orange/pink) which I failed to photo well.. A couple of views of the same three.. Another I found hard to photograph Another view of same Finally a little one which really came up with a great pattern. A nodule which needed no cutting, just threw it in the tumbler for a few weeks. A couple of views and a video to get a view of the whole thing. Apologies the camera kept going out of focus - I'm no good at video! s155.photobucket.com/user/ian_tommy/media/2014-06-14133333.mp4.htmlEdit: For some reason the video is not showing. Maybe too big a file. Thanks for looking!

dito Rich, the eye agates make it. Also like the spice in the first photo(the specks). Wish I could hunt on those Scottish beaches. Most beautiful country. PM me your address and I will send some coral out when season slows.

I get excited every time you post more of these. I would be on those beaches constantly looking for those little beauties. I love the eyes. I love the speckles in the first one. I love the fortifications. I think I love everything about Scottish agates, except that they're so far away!

I'd be looking for the source where that agate came from....

WOW, Ian Beautiful agates! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Looking at your success you absolutely have some great spots to collect. If all goes well I'll be heading to Scotland for a week in 2015; hope I can find at least one stone close to your finds.

Has any one ever asked you if you were looking for gold while collecting agates? I think you found some with these!
