I am thinking to sell an HP 14/16 saw I bought off ebay last year for $550, which folks here thought was a real good price. Paid for it in Jan, Rob (of RTH member RobsRockShop) picked it up for me in May when he made a pickup of his own. So it ended up in my garage for just over $700. Other than stocking some oil, and buying a new $100 motor, it has been sitting ever since. Said to be running good when I bought it: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/57838, the bearings seem quiet but I have never run it. It would be a local pickup only sort of thing. Maybe I could bring it to Tulsa for meetup at Rocky Mountain Show. I'm not in any hurry. Still have to inquire about interest in the local rock clubs. I also have an old LS10 that I have not used since buying, and some extra rock. (I don't have enough time to keep my other LS10 and LS12 well fed.) Anyway, I might consider a deal for someone buying both saws and some rock, but for now asking $600 for the HP saw and the motor is available for $100. PM me if you have interest, or if you know folks who might be interested, send them here to read this thread. That's all at this point.

Figured as much, but had to ask in case it was in, say, Goodland. Thanks.

Daniel. Good luck with the saw sales. That 10" is a good deal in having the tank, vice feed etc intact. I've seen HP 10" with none of that try to sell for more money. Were I going through Lawrence, I'd be tempted myself. I recently bought a B-12, Highland Park 10" saw and a separate arbor unit (run by two distinct motors), and am really impressed with the 10" saw except for the idiosyncratic HP sideways vice. The old HP stuff is so heavily built compared to Raytech and Star Diamond models. I hope your sell saws is not health related. All the best. Tom

Hi Tom - I am working on the theory that if I get rid of the extra LS10 and HP14, that I will use the remaining LS10 and LS12 a bit more. I might even get rid of the Covinginton vertical belt unit and/or the Vibra Sonic tumbler. I need more empty space or I just want to leave my shop.

Sporadic fits of downsizing are good for all of us. I'm still using your blade and its a screaming demon on agate and petrified wood. Tom

Congrats! I have been looking for one of those for a while, and would have been your first call if I was anywhere near Kansas. Someone got a great deal.
