My wood projects are going to be started again for awhile, they were put on hold for way to long...LOL I bought this display stand at a local secondhand store last week-it will be stripped down and taken apart, sanded and repaint it pearl white. I'll display my smaller rocks in it...(they should stand out more with the lighter back ground..) I get bored using store bought wood for projects,so I rescue and find old barn wood and wood people throw away, because of it's lack of looks... I give it life again and beauty for a long life on someones wall or any other way it can be shown... Some of the frames will be painted, than sanded and stressed with sandpaper to look worn....

I also make walking sticks and canes with diamond willow and other types of wood.... I have a few I am working on right now..Using deer and elk antler to incorporate with the wood...

love the frames and would love to see pics of the sticks as well. I have made a few sticks of ash and elm and we use them all the time... that was very fun to do... don't forget to show us those frames in their finished forms, too.

Nice work, really like the first two frames. Even better when one hobby pays for another. One of my hobbies pays for the other three.

The hole is the size of a 5x7 picture frame, but would make a great display piece for a huge thunderegg too..(after it's cut down to size).. I'll cut it to about a 12" x 12" size...
