I went from "no bail" to double bail. I have a bunch more in mind, too. This is one that I may never do again. It was a royal PITA. Hangs nice and straight, though.    |

I like both of your ideas: no bail and double bail.
They say about some actors that "camera loves them". Same about you, only "wire loves you". Seems like it's enough to touch the wire and something beautiful comes out.

PS. Here's an idea: make the three wires of each bail uneven, such as the central ones would be shorter and the outer ones higher. This way the chain would be in contact with all of them, not only with the outer ones.
