I bought a lovely box of rocks from Deserthound. He shipped super fast, even before I had sent payment! He is very nice and has great communication! I am new to the rock thing, but both my son and I liked the rocks a lot. He also sent some dino poop! Thank you, Floyd!

A very normal reaction on here is "if there ain't no photos it didn't happen". I think everyone on here has said it at least once. It is a way to get people to post photos so we all can see what went down.
A short fuse will get ya blasted out of the water here faster than most other things. Jim

you guys are total out of line, if you were have as smart as you think you are you would have seen the sale go down in buy and sell.....you could see what i sent.. am i supposed to post a receipt form her well you know what you jerks kiss me where the sun dont shine....the forum is the most unfriendly place i have every been..... i am so sorry some have choose to treat a newbie like dirt....you guys are jerks and i hope i never meet you in person.... This is just our way to ask for pics. We like to see what our rock friends are doing. So we can congratulate them on a purchase/trade, consider getting some ourselves, see if there is a new place we want to check out, etc... I hope when you meet someone in person you don't blow up that fast. You can always ask what was meant before telling folks you hardly know to kiss your @$$.

The section should not be called "the good, the bad and the ugly", but "the good the bad and the explosive". Short fuse, man! Very short fuse.

Floyd, I appreciate your gesture! I did see it just in jest as "pictures or it didn't happen" is a fairly common phrase online about anything and is often said in jest. I have been thinking about taking a picture, I've just been busy. I will try to get a picture just so everyone can see the nice rocks I received or at least the dino poo.

Kathy, please do post a pic or two, and put an end to this foolishness.
I think Tod & Jim pretty well explained what was meant by " Pics or it didn't happen ". I've had it said to me, and I've said it to others.

Most all of us have done the "ass, self" thing one time or another. Me, many. Someone that admits it is ok in my book. Hope ya stick around. Sales are tough anywhere, that is why I give most all away. To sell something gives it a little value, to give it away makes it priceless. Jim

sorry Toad... i did delete the apology ..along with all the crap i wrote...i made a mistake again....wasnt a very good post for me and just wanted to get rid of it...so i'm again sorry Toad that i offended you and anyone else..i will let this post stay, but i am totally done with this whole post...you can keep it going if you like. I have learned my lesson in sales and my opinions...i'm getting the rules down slowly...and maybe some day will actually have something to contribute.

Yup, we all live for the pictures! It's always great to see what other folks, find, cut, cab, sell or buy, especially when it's stuff they hunt locally. One of my favorite things is to see an ugly ole rock cut open to reveal the interior or polished to show the final results. The pics allow us to rockhound vicariously and that's why we are always askin for'em....Mel
