In the "Competition Time" of the members section you'll find a thread for The Big Fun Tumbling Contest. Sixteen board members participated and put in 12 weeks worth of tumbling. Roy, R&B Rockshop, supplied the rough. John, Thunder69, took care of organizing the contest and poll. Thanks guys! Please take a few minutes to go vote for your favorites .... forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/post/751009/thread .... Thanks, from us all. Here are some other rocks I finished with my contest rocks. Pictures of all the contest rocks will have to come later. The contestants have informally agreed to hold off posting tumble pics until the voting is over. Some local fare. Misc. Jaspers Misc. Agates Three I particularly like One of my local pieces, has a little chatoyance that's hard to get in a pic. Thanks for looking and keep on rollin' them stones.

That 2nd you particularly like is my favourite. That is stunning, like a look into another dimension.

Great batch! Shine is terrific and really rounded shapes too. You must have given those a good long run in rough grind....Mel

You are right Mel, this is a great example of NOT rushing the course stage, the most important step.
