Hey everyone! I know I've been pretty quiet around here for a while but with wedding planning and school it's been pretty crazy! I took a 1 month, 3 credit course this month that just ended, it was a pretty hectic thing, 19 chapters on the development over the human lifespan in 4 weeks! But I got an A and I don't think I've ever been more proud of a grade than with this calss, I worked my butt off for it! Yey! Anyway, to the stuff you actually want to see This is what I've gotten to do over the past couple months! What do you think? Thanks for looking!! - Krista These are for my bridesmaids, all of them are Sage Amethyst cut by Roy and wrapped by me in Argentium Sterling Silver wire. This one is for my Sister and matron of honor, Siberian Jade cut by Krystee (tntmom) and wrapped by me and my fiance John in 950 Palladium wire! I would not ever recommend using this for wire wrapping, John had to clamp and hold the ends of the wire and I was using two hands to wrap the halfround around the round... it was just nuts! But it turned out well I think And a couple for sale! Purple/Multi-Color Labradorite (probably spectrolite but I don't know it's origins) wrapped in round Gold Filled wire. Here's the video for this one :http://youtu.be/guJkEdszSuk Labradorite wrapped in round Argentium Sterling Silver wire.

Beautiful pendants ... but there's still one missing: the bride's pendant! If you made such beautiful and elegant pendants for the maids of honor and for your sister, I can only imagine how stunning yours will be. The bride must shadow everything after all, right? Adrian

Adrian, Thank you very much! I've actually spent a very pretty penny on freshwater pearls to make myself a graduated necklace, bracelet and earrings. I'm currently waiting on funds to buy the tools as I truly depleted my cash buying the pearls. John also even pitched in and bought the most pricey string for my birthday in May SO the jewelry will come, eventually lol Hopefully before the wedding!!! Deb, Thank you! The wedding is October 11th, so we've got just over 3 months before we say our vows!! I'm a little overwhelmed with all that still needs doing but we're getting there! - Krista

Drop dead gorgeous, as usual! You will have the prettiest bridesmaids. I can't wait to see what you do for yourself. Congrats on holding it all together. You've got a lot going on.

Congratulations on the upcoming nuptials. Wishing you and your partner all the best for a long-lasting and most of all healthy union. Your pendants are stunning to say the least, and looking forward to see them in use. Freshwater pearls for yourself? Baroque I suppose! Can you already reveal the colour? Looking forward how that evolves.

Wow! Thank you everyone so much for the compliments! I chose to go with round, natural white freshwater pearls, if I had thousands of dollars to spend I would have gone with golden South Sea pearls! But I am very happy with the ones I've purchased, all are tested, I took vinegar to them and they all had gummy, gunky layers film off and then I crushed them with a hammer (which the good ones took a lot of good whacks to break) and decided which strands to keep and which weren't good enough. You can see the strand in the middle in the first picture isn't quite as shinny and although they were real the bead in the center that started them was larger so not as much nacre so I'm not using those but I'm using all the rest! All four strands, you can see the strand second from the bottom is the same strand as the middle one in the top picture, just not quite as nice as the others. So not using it!
