Don't know if I will have any time to look, but wondering if anyone knows or can point me to a place that might have the info on collecting specimens in Mexico. I'll be in the Baja area about 1.5 hours south of Tijuana right on the coast.

I only know the weakest of info, but a couple at our rock show had lots of chrysocolla and malachite, very high quality. They said they had driven down the baja years ago and found a hillside covered in green and blue, and that they return every year or so and collect a bunch to bring home and sell. That is all they would say.

Wikipedia puts copper mines near Santa Rosalia. That is about 10 hours south and on the east coast. Not very helpful, sorry.
