Howdy folks, Well telling my poppy story got me all worked up about cutting more poppy jasper so you're going to be seeing some new poppy pics for awhile *L*. This is the only piece of rough of any size I found of this type golden poppy. Found a small pit on a crawl and picked up a pocket full of tumble chips and then found this one rough piece. Too bad, because I really like this type and it is very unlike any other Hunters valley poppy jasper I found. Most in the area runs to reds, oranges and pinks. There was however, a pit with white orbs nearby but again only chips. If one had a bulldozer out there, who knows what treasures one would find. All this material is pretty close to the surface. I'd bet there are huge veins a few feet down.....Mel
