Real nice stuff, and water park too. The human mind is unpredictable. The musicians, cutting sheer Mama bird feeding her young and the fire pit rank high to me. thanks for sharing Lee

They are all great. I especially like "Put a Handle on it".

Most of these are pretty easy to make but having the creativity in your mind isn't! Almost anyone can learn to weld, braze, cut, etc, etc but creativity is something you either have or don't have. I can stick metal together pretty good but fail in creativity. connrock

The littles 'skits' you braze up are about total imagination.

James,,, Most of the ideas for the "skits" came off of the web.I saw something that gave me an idea and went from there but most are "altered" copies. When I sit and try to imagine an original,,,my mind seems to go blank and it's like staring into a black void,,,nothing there! connrock

connrock I totally understand, I have to see what others have done to get ideas for my "original" pieces. I don't think there are any new forms of art left that have never been done. it's more like what we haven't seen yet.

Humans perform better thru analogies and comparisons. Just the way it is. It takes a special person to start with nothing. And rarely does it happen. Because our minds remember so much. A wheel is simple. But it was a long time being invented.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that needs a start to make an "original"! I saw a beautiful pendant on line ,,saved the photo,,,,printed it in several different sizes and stowed it away until I thought I had enough experience to try to make one like it,,,,not the same but on the same style. It entailed a LOT of "internal" sawing and 1 day when I thought I was ready to attempt it I sat down and looked at all the photos I had copied. Well,,,,all I did was look at it because I realized that I still wasn't ready to attempt anything as intricate as this piece was and I'm still not. Sometimes it's not even easy to copy a piece,,,or it's "style"! I also came across a piece of copper repousse that I loved. It has grape vines and grapes hanging from a split rail fence.Sounds pretty easy but to get the amount of detail that this piece has is WAY beyond my capability so the grape vine photo/copies go in the same file as the pendant did! LOL I sometimes set my goals too high but without goals,,,,where are we??? connrock
