This one is finally finished and has been a long time coming. There are a few spots i want to touch up a bit and will probably re-do the polish on the blade to smooth it out, after taking the close up pics these flaws are very evident to me now. Overall though i am pretty happy with this piece. It is carved from a fairly hard and nicely felted piece of Kutchko mine B.C. jade. The base once again is maple burl and twisted copper wire although i may redo the wire job to lower the piece a bit and give it another point of support. Comments, critique, and criticism's are very welcome.

One has to look fairly hard to see anything that still needs to be redone due to the overexposure of the picture itself, and only because you mention that something is amiss.

I love how you have it displayed. I like how it is suspended above the burl wood with the copper wire and would leave it 'as is.' I also like how the knife is hanging at an angle.
