Howdy folks, Had another trail ride this morning so I didn't have much time to saw rocks. I find I have to sharpen the blade every third hard rock so I spent a lot of my time today on Toenails. It did turn out to be a nice hunk of nails though. I love it when the Texagrypha fossils are blue gray against the gold limestone and this stuff cabs up beautifully. The nails: Devil's Toenails cabbed: Also cut another weird jasper rom a small find on top of the hill by the Strawberry vein. This one can't decide whether to be poppies or breccia. Closer look at the most poppyish slab. Tiny little poppies.

Awesome little toenails! I picked up just one golden yellow toenail boulder like that north of Yuma at the end of last year. It's still sitting here, although I did actually have my hands on it just yesterday, lol.
I wish I had just 1/10th of your drive and enthusiasm, Mel. I need to kick it up a notch, cut more, cab more. Maybe even get another tumbler batch rolling. Jean

*LOL* Drive huh? Well I go out and lead a trail ride for two hours. Come home and eat lunch and by after lunch it's so hot I sit myself down on the deck and nap while the saw runs. If I'm feeling really vigorous, I might run the weedeater a bit but mostly I nap and get up to move the saw cross feed. Heck, I'm a regular ball of fire *LOL*......Mel
