So I decided to finish cutting that mossy Lucky Strike egg & went back to the rock shop to find a bigger (3lb 5oz) Lucky Strike egg in the "rock garden" too!! Started with this: and turned it into these: Which look like this when they are wet: front opposite side opposite side This piece was trimmed of the crumbly exterior matrix Here's the other other - bigger but not necessarily better:

some really great looking eggs , i like the 3rd one down...thats funny how that works sometimes some of my biggest eggs have been duds, its a real fun time with eggs for sure.. you never know...thanks for sharing

9th and 10th photo the orange shimmers like flame very beautiful cuts!

All are fantastic, like the smaller egg the best. Color on the larger egg is pretty intense.

Lucky Strike eggs are some of the best in my opinion. The one in the third photo is very nice.
