Howdy folks, Had a great day today. Yesterday I bought me a new weed wacker at Home Depot and today, since my back wasn't bothering me much, I managed to cut rocks all day while I just about finished all my weed work. I had a whole stack of stuff by the saw including some really nice heels that still had a cut or two left in them so I really went crazy. Here are the first few pics....Mel Couple of breccias that came from a different area right next to the Cosmos Jasper vein so they are kind of an intergrade between the two. Very solid stuff. Cuts from a heel of the small orb/poison oak vein. Pretty good sized, about all my ten inch saw will handle. Most I have from there is huge and will have to be broken down before cutting. The smaller pieces came out right where the vein thinned and got into the dang poison oak. First one is kind of ehhhh. The next and final slab is super cool with a different pattern on each side so I'll show ya both sides. Weird side: Great side!:
