I would like to know if any one out there knows something about this rock (PRASE FROM AUSTRALIA). Like how hard it is. I think it is about a #7 on the scale. It looks like it is going to be very good looking when it is tumbled. I have had it in Coarse for about 3 weaks. Well thanks

Wow, $400 a kilo, you'd better not screw it up! "Prase" is just another fake name, like "chrysophrase"; it's all quartz. Marketers looking for an edge, to helle with the science. The "chrysoprase" I've got is rather pitted, and I'm not about to tumble stuff that sells by the ounce anyways. I'm sure your stuff will look killer when it's done!

Hay thanks for the info. Well I think I got a very low grade of the Prase. I got it for $8.00 Pound. I looks like it is going to be very very nice when it is gone. I will post a pit when it is done tumbling.

Please do post pix, I'd love to see it. I've got a milk bag full that probably isn't good enough to cab; if yours is nice I'll start rolling mine.
