Black Bruneau, rare but difficult to see the pattern. I have no idea how I got it or why. Unusual Blue mountain slabette, 3" x 2" at the widest.

Unusual blue mountain looks a lot like Gary Green/fossil swamp bog/Larsonite.
Well, one of ‘em anyway. : )

There are a couple of pieces of BM that are similar. I don't know what I did with the rest of the slab. I probably bought it as BM. I can also see what you are saying aboug Gary Green. The cut and feel of the slab is like porcelain jasper. Here's a picture from ebay:

The bands in those nice blue slabs are what you find in "Ellipso" jasper, which I understand (from talking to the miner/main seller years ago) comes from near the Blue Mt. claim. That material really does very frequently look like a cross between Blue Mt. and Gary Green. May be what these are?
