I still get excited to open the saw when the first cut on a rock is done. There's always a little extra "rush" to see whats inside. I see at least two nice cabs in every slab. A couple of these may make there way to EBAY soon. Need some new nova wheels for genie. Chuck

That's a nice one! The pudding stones on Drummond Island really are way better than what I find around here.

That's a nice one! The pudding stones on Drummond Island really are way better than what I find around here. I just don't show you guys all the boring ones, lol. Probably 50 boring ones for every one we find like this. Sometimes I'll cut 10 slabs and only get one or two cab quality pieces. The only other spot that I have heard of that competes with Drummond Island for pudding stones is St. Josephs Island in Canada. I here they find great ones there too. I have never been to St. Joseph in the summer months though. We used to ride our snowmobiles across the ice to get there in the winter till they raised all the prices of trail permits in Canada. I haven't cut any where near 50 rocks, so maybe I've still got an amazing one one the way.
