I don't think so Keith. They can be wiped off with a rag and you would never know they were there. They grew heavier on the bruised spots. Go figure.

They can. But it is not a given.

Here is a thread from Georgia Outdoor News discussing the 'removal' or 'decimation' of these small millipedes.
