Can anyone tell me about a 8" horizontal lap machine that was made by C. & E. Marshall? All I know is that they are a watch repair company out of Chicago, IL. There is a multitude of watch repair kits listed online, but nothing about this machine.
Any information would be most appreciated!

I'm no Lap artist, But I'm handy with doing a few searches.. Seems that your lap machine was made by C & E Marshall and they where listed in an 1918 flier about watch makers and jewelry suppliers. I'll continue my search.

Just an update... The machine is @ 75 - 80 years old and still runs great. It's a slow machine, @320 rpm's so I got a felt pad for it and am using it for my cerium oxide buffing. 1st few stones have polished up well!
