I have not had much time to wire wrap lately but it felt good to get a few done. These first three are special ones to us. A couple weeks ago we sent our 17 year old daughter on a school trip for 10 days to France and Spain. I had told her to try to pick up some rocks from the beach in Barcelona but doubted that she would since rocks are not her thing. I was pleasantly surprised when she came home and showed me a bag with seashells and a few pieces of beach glass and one rock. She said just picked up the glass because she thought it was cool but she had not thought about me being able to make anything from it. Here's the three best pieces. I think her mom will be keeping one of these but she can have the other two. And here's the stones I got wrapped Thanks for looking Chuck

Nice! I really like those cute little glass ones. Bet they'll be good sellers.

I told my wife that those would probably sell better then my wire wraps. Less then five minutes for each drilled hole and only 5 minutes to wrap with a single 4" long piece of sterling scrap wire. awfully quite around here lately (crickets chirping). Hopefully that means everyone is out enjoying the summer and picking up more rocks along the way.

What a great opportunity for your daughter! Hope she had a really great time, and those sea glass pendants will remind her of those memories every time she wears one. What type of stone is that first wrap under all the sea glass pics? It's beautiful! Great wraps, lovely story

Great wraps, lovely story Thanks- That first traditional wire wrapped stone one was labeled Mexican lace agate when I bought the slab. Chuck
