these are a few rocks that I deemed ready for the next phase. There were tumbled in a PVC pipe. Im only using the PVC for coarse tumble ATM. It seems to be alot rougher and breaks up the rocks better for me. On the bottom in the large stone you can see a crystallized coral tube, kind of like a scope to see inside the stone...sort of! I found that one particularly fascinating. Once the batch in my 45c is complete ill be using that one for fine grit and polishing. when I get another 45C barrel I'll be using that for fine grit tumble. Notice I like my agatatized coral to not be perfectly smooth. There are actually 2 small crystallized tubes.

I love the colour scheme of those rocks. Look like little sharks. Great identifier with your location.

Even though they aren't very vibrant colors, they polish nicely, I especially like the ones with white tips that fade into translucent browns. Some look like the ocean from space with white clouds in the batch I'm doing now. I will get some pictures, hopefully this weekend after the clean out for polishing.

I gravitate toward whites, blacks, shades of greys and silver. I like all rocks and bright colours always seem exotic, but the sleek scheme your Tampa stones have appeals to me more than most. I'd like to have a bowl of those. Look forward to seeing more. More closeup individual shots too please, if you get the time.

Mini melting pots of agate. I will definitely post Some quality close-ups. I will get some of the batch that'll be ready for polish on Sunday after I wash them. My first batch came out really nice. This is one I haven't done anything to yet, it has an amazing clear spot. Set it in a flashlight to highlight the center.
