I had a customer on Etsy request to have this varigated tigereye stone wrapped for his wife. I told him that I really thought this one should be wrapped in gold filled or brass and that I did not have either of those. He talked me into just wrapping it in sterling and he said to maybe add a patina to it. I took these photos right after burnishing it and now I am unsure if the patina will look better or if I should leave it alone. I sent the pictures to him too since in the end it will be his decision. What do you all think? Thanks Chuck

I don't know- looks pretty good without a patina.

I don't know- looks pretty good without a patina. Yeah I am really hoping he agrees to leave it alone. Do you think it would have looked a lot better in gold though? Chuck

Have you ever seen me wrap one in silver? LOL! Yes, I think copper, brass, bronze or gold would be better- but I am not your customer.

It does look good although I agree it would look better in gold or brass.

Drummond Island Rocks I just want to clarify- I DO think it looks good as is. Just would prefer a darker wire. Don't sweat it, if your client likes silver- you're good to go.
