Fossil, I've found th Amazonite and Smoky Quartz seem to always be in pairs.. Was this way after touring the Morefield mine in VA..

Its all Amazonite and Smokey Quartz. This stuff comes from Colorado. Chances are most of you have heard of the folks i'm getting this stuff from. (i'd say at least 2 of the people I know). But nothing i get is lapidary worthy.. mostly specimen worthy.
On a side note today i found a really nice piece of jasper with red to orange to some yellow... I hope to make at least 1 pendant from it... Its already cut i just need to tumble it in roughly 5 weeks.
