Laura and I spent two weeks camping in Maine this summer for our summer vacation. In order to get Laura to buy into the concept, I promised to take her to a few attractions that didn’t involve rock shops, road cuts or abandoned quarries. We spent a few days in Acadia National Park and the botanical gardens at Booth Bay. In spite of all the distraction of the natural beauty of Maine, I was still managed to find a few along the way. Here are some photos of what I found, but didn’t bring home with me. Lonely Rock Standing Rock Sitting Rock Sleeping Rock [/URL] Tanning Rock Pet Rocks I also found a few smaller rocks that I did manage to bring home and will post soon. Darryl.
