While I was poking through one of my baskets of Obsidian I came across this chunk that I hadn't looked at for many years. I had forgotten that I even had it. It is 6" tall and 1-3/4" thick. It has the golden color throughout the piece so every slab will have this rich color. I polished this side and it was a bugger to photograph. I haven't a clue where it might be from.
