Are ya selling *your* water then, james? On the down low, that is? It's ridiculous that somebody has to take into consideration what their neighbors think when it involves personal property...The Homeowner's Association is pretty overzealous here too, hence my apprehension for doing anything too obvious as far as collecting goes. The neighbors were raising cane because my friend/neighbor was wanting to put in a water treatment facility and large trucking operation. It is my vacation camp in Florida so I did not care one way or the other. But my neighbors were angry that i did not sign the petition against it. And my friend/neighbor got mad at me for not coercing the neighbors to being amiable toward his project. So I told them all to kiss my arse. It ended up being a mess. I only drink and bath in the designer water. I call it the fountain of youth. I even built a concrete pool to soak in it. Artesian well fills the pool in 2 hours, no pump needed. 3000 gallons of 'designer water'. ha

Very cool! I love jade! I seem to remember the Mariposa County, CA nephrite from Flyaway Gulch in the Merced River Gorge was supposed to sometimes contain a little gold. Not unusual as there are hardrock gold mines right above the gulch and most the jasper from up there contains some gold. Only hunk I have is nice and flawless but has no gold though. Dang!.....Mel

Nobody's gonna get bored to see the assay/analysis of these materials. Nobody. I wonder how 400PPM translates to ounces per ton? Edited to add: This website gpex.ca/smf/index.php?topic=3037.0;wap2Says 400PPM is equivalent to 400 grams per ton. 14 oz per ton is pretty rich ore. Powdering jade on the other hand ain't the easiest task. Still could you bring hom 1000# a month?

That is a nirvana. Right in your backyard. Never heard of covenants and restrictions covering mineral rights. I guess it is assumed. Got a neighbor that has an artesian well that put out high grade water that he was going to bottle as 'designer water'. All the neighbors had a tizzy. Petitioned it to failure. I didn't, my artesian well puts out the same water as his. Was hoping to get in on the action. Reminds me of this person on Shark Tank selling arctic clay like it's special. www.adn.com/article/20140114/making-millions-out-mud-cordova-entrepreneur-pitching-idea-shark-tankJust put something normal in small enough bottles with a great marketing campaign and you can really turn mud to gold! Washington, I'm super impressed like all the others. Good on you doing the work to find and identify all of that. Hope you're reaping some rewards! What a variation - jade is in a class of its own in rocks.

Thanks for the feedback, everybody! jamesp, Wow, now that looks like a Nirvana to me. I know nothing about Artesian water. Is it simply high in mineral content? Does it sooth achy muscles when you soak in it? No wonder DeLeon thought he would find the 'fountain of youth' in FLA! Interesting article, bcrockhound! I've never been in this hobby for the money, but I have to admit, my gears are turning right now. @shotgunner, I can't bring myself to crush this stuff to get to the gold, but as you say, it would be a bit of a challenge anyway. I've got a small pile of tailings and cut scraps I may try it out on though.

The list is about 12 compounds/elements. it is a karst type spring so yes, lots of goodies in it. I wish I could find jade there.
