To a 60 thousand acre wilderness area. The ranger we met told us elk are moving in and bear roam freely. almost the entire park is on karst, even the low areas, boggy meadows, have rocks below the surface only 6 inches or so at most. I picked up 3 small green jaspers and one orange which I can't wait to tumble.

Beautiful scene! Looks like lots of shoreline to hunt.

Lovely spot snowmom. Love those pebble beaches you guys have. What lake is that ?? I just got a shipment of unakite from juggle guy Rob and put them in a tub of water so i could have my own pebble beach.

Jamesp, its mostly limestone, with a bit of whatever the glaciers dragged down from Canada when the lake was formed. The lake is Lake Huron. I've seen some of Jugglerguy/Rob's unakite, he is the unakite champ! Enjoy your little piece of upnorth!
