I've seen alot of pictures and read a couple tutorials and decided to give it a try. The base is agatized coral. It's not pretty but I used what I had on hand for a trial run.

Looks a lot like my first keep it up you'll get better with practice and find your own style. It helped me to look at images of real trees and try to imitate their natural design. Good luck and have fun with it, hope to see some more

Looks great! What type of wire did you use? Are you going to try incorporating some tumbled gems with your next one?

Thanks, I want to do a mangrove tree since most of the rocks I find are mostly corals found on beaches and to keep the ocean theme. I plan on doing alot of practicing different techniques to get a more uniform wrap on the roots and branches. Thats a good idea to use pictures for reference. I use pictures as reference for my drawings, it really helps.

It was a cheap roll from the craft store. I'm gonna use 24g on my next tree. One I get a little better I want to incorporate some of my smalls.
