Wondering if you can help me to identify the agate and maybe it's location found. Sometimes I think its Black plume, then again maybe Amy sage? Uncertain, because it's from a old ebay purchase. Thanks.

That is the plan after 4 years, is to cut them. One problem....My saw isnt big enough to slab it unless I break it into two, the biggest drawback right now, and then.

If it wasn't for the matrix, I'd say really primo Montana moss. But I think Mike nailed it.

Technically, I'd call that a dendritic agate due the the back three dimensional "trees" included. Those are found in several states,California, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Nevada are good bets and also very fine ones very much like yours are often for sale on E-Bay from the country of Turkey.....Mel

You need to find a person to cut that for you, without busting it up.....Thumbs up!

Phil There we go...lol, Back to the same two I was thinking of at the start. Never thought of Paiute agate, thanks I'll look into it. Thanks Phil, for the offer. I'm going to check with Fossilman and see what we can do to make this work, if he's still game.
