A lot of that looks similar to what I pull out of Lake Huron. Love the granites, even though many of them undercut when tumbled, some of the members have worked miracles polishing them. I think they are underappreciated! Would love to see some of that grey- yellow stuff polished up it looks quite hard and like there might be some interesting patterns to it. Will you cut and tumble them?

I was at Put-in-Bay on company business for Aeroquip Company about 15 years ago. I did not realized that agates and other stones were there. I remember skipping rocks out into the bay. I wished now I had looked harder. Thanks for sharing !

The title should be changed to lake erie granites. But less people would read it.
I like the green stripe thru the pink and black one.

Were these collected at Put In Bay or another Lake Erie beach? I'm up in Ashtabula, quite a bit of granite out this way, not many if hardly any agates/jaspers out this way, but then the water is a bit deeper here versus the western basin too plus there is a lot more glacially moved rock out there too. Nice finds, so let's see what they look like polished up!!

We did find some smaller pieces of agate I just cannot find them at the moment or even when I posted these. I thought these were all pretty cool rocks. I don't have a big tumbler or anything and have a bunch of other projects started. These will have to wait. I love just looking at them the way they are. We were on the shore/shallow area of a loading area for boats and found these plus lots of sea glass.
