This is groove wrap try #3 and #4. I am really happy with the style and love them without and extra swirls or loops. The triangle one could almost have been a pendant for a male to wear. I cabbed these, cut the grooves and wrapped them all after work last night. Do any of you have any idea how long these slot cutters last? just curious so I can set a price for the wraps. #3 #4 Chuck

That is a winner Chuck. I think you found a niche.

Well done Chuck...On my cutter I have done roughly 50 cabs so far and it still has a good cutting edge on it...John

well 50 is way higher then I expected so I would be thrilled if that were the case.

Really sweet job, nice and clean on all aspects! I have the Inland groove bits, only because I have all their other crap. I use the groove bits quite a bit and would guesstimate I've done 75+ on the 1.5mm, and happy to say it's still going strong, just takes a tad longer now to achieve depth.

Really great execution. Super clean, style really lets the cab speak for itself. What thickness of cab/height of girdle did you settle on? Cheers

I tried to move the groove closer to the back of the cab on one today to get a larger dome area but now that one looks frail if that make sense? Chuck

Your wraps are nice & tight. They really compliment the cabs.

What brand groove cutter are you using? Is it on a router type table? Thanks

What brand groove cutter are you using? Is it on a router type table? Thanks I picked up a used Inland brand "Wizard" table. Works great. Very quiet and no water spray at all. Chuck

Those are great Chuck. I like the simple, uncluttered look that lets one concentrate on the stone. I noticed you did some previously with a backing loop support. Unnecessary?
