I hope your not already getting bored with the groove wraps. I did do one standard wrap last night too to liven things up. Here is the slab I started with for my four of a kind wrap session I have already posted two of them before but these next two are new ones. Check out how close the groove is to the back of the cab on this one without chipping. This pattern was my favorite of the bunch And here is the grand finale group shot I got this cool little botswana done while I had the tools out Thanks for looking Chuck

Very nice. Could you explain the groove cutting process some time?

I like the way the stone is front and center with that style of wrap. Those are clean looking wraps.

Beautiful groove wraps, Drummond Island Rocks! Very nice. Could you explain the groove cutting process some time? How thick are the bezels on your cabs?

I like them all..I think the groove closest to the center of the bezel is the best of them...There is less worry of a chip/fracture of the stone... Really nice job on them all..Chuck..The bot is killer.....A+++++...John

Beautiful groove wraps, Drummond Island Rocks! Very nice. Could you explain the groove cutting process some time? How thick are the bezels on your cabs? These slabs were all 1/4" thick so I think my girdle line ended up right in the middle then like John said the groove should end up in the middle of the bezel. I cut that one groove real close to the back to try to increase the dome size on the cab. These really require a larger bezel then I normally use for standard wraps and that means less dome on the stone unless I cut slabs thicker. Chuck

Very nice. Could you explain the groove cutting process some time? I will do a pictorial when I get a free moment. I have a show sneaking up next weekend so I am struggling to get some product done. Chuck

dude, you got that sewed up, wrapped and ready for Christmas. Mighty fast learning curve... beautiful work. The 4 lace are pop out your eyes 3-D polished and the wraps show them off to their best advantage... lets them shine.! Nice on the Botswana, too, no fuss, show off the awesome rock... Very workmanlike and no fuss. Let the cab do the talking, and it has plenty to say!
