Thanks to this forum and Tommy I have been reaching some milestones in my new hobby. Rocks that I picked up have now been slabbed, cabbed and wrapped! Tommy worked up some of my dallasite and flowerstone and did way more than I expected. He really put in work for just some new guy on the forum. I appreciate it and so does my girlfriend, who got me interested in rocks in the first place. She broke her foot the day before Tommy's package arrived in the mail, so it was the perfect time for a pick-me-up present. She chose out her favourite slabs and cabs and absolutely loves them. The material shown here is just what she chose, not even half of what Tommy sent me! I will take pictures of everything soon. Thanks to Tommy and all of you. I know now that I LOVE wire wrapping. It is really the cherry on top that perfects the rock. Flowerstone on the left, Dallasite on the right Dallasite cab with a sterling silver wrap Flowerstone cab and slab Thanks for looking. I'm so glad I joined this forum and 'justified' my rock addiction. I want dallasite everything now, watch, necklace, shower tiles. bcrockhound.com/2014/09/13/dallasite-and-flowerstone-cabochons-and-slabs/

Dallsite everything... until something else catches your eye. LOL. That's the best part about this hobby - there's always something new.

You shared valued stones with him. He is a mensch and shared back. That is how he rolls. Terrific stuff you have there. Good on both of you.

All is well. Have the parts to get tumbler working, plenty of super nice rocks (some from you) and the kidlet is going off to university. Free time to work on my spheres and tumble some of the cutoffs!
